Garden design process starts with:

A Site Analysis of 1 to 1.5 hrs to interview client including a walk around the area to look at current garden and conditions. A short questionnaire to answer questions regarding design area, use of space, likes/dislikes, budget, etc. will be completed.  There is a set charge for this initial service.
After summarizing client needs and the site opportunities and challenges, a quote is prepared for a full landscape design

Concept Plan – A second visit to the site to take pictures and measurements will result in a preliminary computerized concept plan indicating the size, form and material of the elements in the garden. Approval of this general plan will set in motion the planting plan.

The Planting Plan shows the final detailed design complete with planting lists and specifications. A laminated copy will also be provided for outdoor use as well as a pictorial folder of the plant material and a shopping list. This plan is for the client to keep. This completes the design process and the balance of the design fee is due at this time.

Other Services

Outsourcing, purchasing of plants, deliveries, construction details, ‘do it yourself” instructions, etc. will be charged out at an hourly rate. Cost of plant material is added.
